Donovan Mitchell Takes A Shot At LeBron James

Rookie star Donovan Mitchell hopes that he could recruit a few more marquee free agents to Utah for the summer. Although many believe that his sights are set pretty high, Mitchell hopes that the Big LeBron James will join the Jass.

Who wouldn’t want to have LeBron in the game? The four-time MVP and three-time NBA champion knows how to roll, and that’s exactly what attracts everyone to his game.

“Would I want to play with him? Who wouldn’t?” Mitchell admitted during an Adidas event held in the Philippines.

If by any chance LeBron goes to the Jazz, Utah will soon become a championship contender. In other words, it will also become an elite defensive team. Just imagine having Rudy Gobert, LeBron James, Joe Inglis, Ricky Rubio and Donovan Mitchell together… This could be the new elite-challenging team. Will the Rockets and Warriors like this? Probably not.

However, Mitchell didn’t hesitate to say that he prefers playing against LeBron. Wonder why? He dreams of beating him. But, if James ever decides to come to Utah, Mitchell and the rest of the team would give him a warm welcome.
“If I had a choice on playing with him or beating him, I’d rather beat him. But if he wants to play with the jazz, then we’ll take him of course,” Mitchell said.

There’s almost no chance that James joins the Jazz, because they are not even favorite for the NBA star.

“LeBron James is going to have a conversation with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Obviously they can offer him the most, and they are willing to do anything they can to keep him here, etc. etc. And obviously the wife is going to have a major, major say in that, so you got that going on. He’s going to have a conversation with Boston. He’s going to have a conversation with Philly. Obviously the Lakers. Houston is in the mix as well. They are going to go after him. Make no mistake about it,” ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith said.
