Robert Kraft Broke His Silence On Tom Brady’s Career And His Contract Situation

Tom Brady and Robert Kraft agree upon several topics, including the quarterback’s contract extension. Both Bob and the Patriots owner have the same opinion, and let’s admit it, we saw this coming.

“He’ll be 41 when the season starts. Neither side has an issue with it. If it becomes an issue, we’ll deal with it,” Robert Kraft said.

Brady has signed his next season, but it’s said that he will “most certainly entertain” contract negotiations. The Super Bowl champion signs the extension for two years. His deals have often happened before the start of the free agency.
Kraft also spoke about the readiness to mobilize and re-ignite the contract negotiations. Brady may have said that he wants to play through the mid-40s, the finish of his docu-series “Tom vs. Time” say something else. People are already questioning his intention to move forward. According to Kraft, the series are interesting, saying he hopes that Brady continues to play.

“Me personally, I’d like to see him play as long as he can. I don’t think anyone would have believed 10 years ago that he would have played this year, gone to the Super Bowl and been MVP of the league at 40 years old. It’s just unbelievable. It speaks to the way he takes care of himself, the way he trains, how much film he watches, one of the hardest working guys. He is driven to excel. I think as long as he feels he is like that, he’ll keep playing. We’re so lucky to have him in our system,” Kraft said.
