Rob Gronkowski Shares Photos Of His Gold Cleats And Gloves
Most NFL fans would agree that Rob Gronkowski is the most precious figure on the tight end position in the league. Gronk now has received his very own pair of gold cleats and gold gloves. This is a nice symbol of his top tier status among all NFL peers.
Gronkowski was rated as a 99 overall in the Madden NFL 19 video game which is why his cleats have a gold “99” right on the ankle. The other side of the cleats reads “The Gronk Way.” Awesome! If by any chance you get to see these, you will definitely notice the “R. Gronkowski” placed along the bottom of the cleats.
The tight end received his gift on Monday, and used his Instagram to brag. Classy.
“[Nike Football] and [Madden] surprised me with custom gold cleats and gloves! 99 club baby!! Thanks to everyone at [Nike] and [Madden] for always having my back! The season is just around the corner!” the caption read.
Seven players had the luck to be a 99 overall to start the game, including Patriots quarterback Tom Brady. We still don’t know if Brady would receive a similar gift. He’s the star after all. Maybe he will be honored in the same way.
