Here’s What Is Next For Edelman After Denied Appeal

The Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman hoped to appeal the suspension brought by the National Football League. According to the NFL, he violated their PED policy, and gave him a devastating four-game suspension.

Edelman tried to lift the suspension, but his appeal effort was denied. In other words, Edelman will miss the first month of the season.

Many things will change for the wide receiver, but he will still be able to join the team in training camp. He will also play in the preseason.

So, once the Pats enter the regular season, Edelman will have to stay away from the team for a month. He will miss the games with Texans, Jaguars, Lions and Dolphins. The wide receiver will come back to the team on October 1st, right after the contest with Miami.

How will the Patriots work with their wide receiver during the preseason? His role will be reduced, and quarterback Tom Brady will create a better rapport with pass catchers. The team will be getting ready for the real game, so there won’t be much space for their suspended player.

If by any chance Julian decided to continue his fight, his legal representatives will have to create a strong case and bring the battle to court.
