Shaquille O’Neal Releases Bombshell Statement On LeBron’s Signing With Lakers

The Big Shaquille O’Neal decided to join the mass of fans talking about James LeBron and his major contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. The four-time NBA champion believes that LeBron’s move to the Lakers won’t help the team to catch up with the Golden state Warriors “superteam.” Wow.

Shaquille O’Neal went on CNBC’s “Fast Money Halftime Report,” and talked about LeBron’s contract. He also opened the topic of the general state in the world of basketball.

“He’s a very remarkable guy… but you must win at some point,” O’Neal said.

O’Neal was part of the Lakers family from 1996 to 2004. He and Kobe Bryant gave the team three championships, and that’s exactly what helped him become a successful businessman.

“When I was there [in LA] doing stuff, I was taking a lot of flack for not winning. Once I started winning, then everything was like on steroids. It elevated for me, business-wise,” Shaq said.

James enjoys full attention at the moment. He has a bunch of deals in his hands, and cameras love him. King James also owns a production company, and we’ve seen him on TV shows and in the “Trainwreck.” How will fit in Los Angeles?

“I think for him to be considered a great Laker, he definitely has to win a championship,” O’Neal added.

It would be tough for LeBron to win the West Coast, as the Golden State Warriors of Oakland, California, already enjoy a reputation of superteam. He will have to face Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson.

“In my opinion, this is the most talented starting five in the history of the game. The good thing about the Golden State superteam is they play an excellent style of basketball,” Shaq noted.

Well, we can’t do anything but wish LeBron tons of luck. Good luck.
