Tony Romo Makes Prediction About NE Patriots, And It’s Bad

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is more than a pro football oracle. Have you ever noticed that he’s right about every prediction so far? This man just sits there and makes predictions, and yes, he’s right almost always.

Tony Romo went on NFL Total Access on NFL Network, and talked about the Super Bowl. Lindsay Rhodes asked a few questions, and although Romo thinks it’s too early to make any predictions, it seems like he has a few ideas on his mind.

The first rule of making such prediction is to label the New England patriots as the AFC’s representative. What’s the second rule? Read rule number one. But, Tony Romo has a whole different perspective.

Romo had a stellar career with the Cowboys. He retired and joined CBS’s broadcasting booth.

When asked about the early prediction, Romo made a long pause, and expressed his concern about the prediction. However, his bet is on the Packers and Jaguars. Is he right?

“Oh, if I had to pick right now?. It’s pretty early. The thing about the NFL is things change pretty fast. Injuries happen. A lot of stuff happens. If I was picking right now, I’d probably go with … I’d probably go with Green Bay vs. Jacksonville. I think that would be just a tentative rough guess here in the summer months,” Romo said.

Why did he chose the Packers? It’s all about the addition of tight end Jimmy Graham. He will definitely help Aaron Rodgers in the end zone. The changes on defense also play a huge role here.
When it comes to the Jaguars, Romo considers them “strong everywhere.”

“You can never count out New England. As long as Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are breathing, the easy pick is them,” he added.
