Pacman Jones Goes Hard On Anthem Kneelers Prior 2018 Season

The information about the NFL Players Association’s grievance against the NFL fills headlines these days. Everybody is talking about its attempt to stop the NFL’s policy on national anthem protests. It was supposed to be the right thing for the problem, but it seems like the problem grows even bigger than it used to be.

Anthem kneelers were one of the biggest problems the NFL faced last season. Will players keep up with the same trend?

“The union’s claim is that this new policy, imposed by the NFL’s governing body without consultation with the NFLPA, is inconsistent with the collective bargaining agreement and infringes on player rights,” the NFLPA explained.

However, Adam Pacman Jones believes that NFL players should opt for other ways to raise the general awareness of social issues. Kneeling during The Star Spangled Banner is one of the worst ways to do so. It’s absolute disrespect for the country and our ancestors.

“I’m all for the anthem. I have a couple of family members that have been over to Iraq. The social issues don’t have nothing to do with the national anthem,” Jones said when asked about anthem kneelers. This response will probably shock some of you. Jones said that football players should “figure out another way besides that way.” He’s right.
Jones shares the same opinion as his employer – the Cincinnati Bengals.

No Bengals player took a knee during the anthem. The owner, Mike Brown, promised to prohibit protests, and asked

Eric Reid if he plans to take a knee next season. This happened during Reid’s free agency.

Pacman is looking for a job, and he will probably be offered one by teams who share his views.

Let’s hope that other players will share his opinion, and stop the last season’s nonsense. It’s about time that someone does things right.
