ESPY Award For Best NBA Player Of The Year Winner Announced

LeBron James has done much more than any other basketball player in the NBA. His contracts are out of this world, and the last one sure shocked us all. LeBron signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, and he will get around $154 million for his game. But, this is not his own accomplishment so far. Yes, it’s the ESPY award.

LeBron has so much accomplishments written down in his portfolio. I guess the ESPY award was the last in the row.

The 26h edition of the ESPY awards took place in Los Angeles. Athletes received awards for their achievements, and we saw big names from the NBA, NFL, MLB and NHL.

You may be guessing straight, but let’s just say it. LeBron also won an award in his category.

The NBA star was recognized at the ESPY’s, and was given the Best NBA Player award. LeBron receives this reward for the seventh time in his NBA career. He won it in 2007, 2009, 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2017. Awesome!
Although he ended up second to James Harden in the NBA’s MVP voting, ESPN considers him the player of the year.

He had a brilliant final season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, and took them to the NBA finals despite of all those shortcomings.

King James averaged 27.5 points, had 9.1 assists and 8.6 rebounds while rocking 36.9 minutes on average. He appeared in each of the regular season games for the Cavs last season.

When it comes to the playoffs, the numbers got even higher. LeBron averaged 34 pints, 9.1 rebounds and nine assists in 41.9 minutes on average. All that while shooting 53.9 percent from the field.

Some fans are unhappy with this, and it probably those who cheer for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Well, the man has made his choice.
