Tom Brady Brutally Responds To Reporters Connecting Guerrero With Julian Edelman’s PED Suspension

While Alex Guerrero, Tom Brady’s TB12 body coach and business partner, has lost his special team privileges in New England, his name is still being mentioned in Patriots circles. Lately, there have been rumors connecting him with Julian Edelman’s four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing drug policy.

This is apparently a sensitive issue for Tom Brady, who reacted abruptly when a reporter asked him about the possible link between the PED suspension and Guerrero’s handling of Edelman’s ACL rehabilitation.

The five-time Super Bowl champion immediately shot that question down, saying, “No comment. It’s ridiculous. I’m out,” and ended the media session.

Guerrero expressed his disappointment about Edelman’s situation, saying he doesn’t condone using banned substances. However, he still had nice words to say about Edelman, calling the two-time Super Bowl Champion “a phenomenal athlete who takes his training seriously.”

“Elite athletes sometimes work with multiple coaches and health professionals as part of their training. Here at our facility, we take a natural, holistic, appropriate and, above all, legal approach to training and recovery for all of our clients. And anyone who would suggest otherwise is irresponsible, and just plain wrong.”

Guerrero, who helped Edelman with his rehabilitation process while he was recovering from an ACL injury that cut short his 2017-2018 season, also enjoys respect of the Patriots’ wide receiver. In fact, he praised Guerrero by calling him “Mr. Miyagi” in an Instagram post.

While Guerrero obviously wants to distance himself from Edelman’s suspension, the possibility of him having something to do with it still cannot be excluded. But Brady has no intention to give out any info, so it’s best not to bother asking him.
