Watch Randy Moss Make Emotional Hall of Fame Speech (Video)

Randy Moss had an extraordinary NFL career, and many would agree that he had the best of all times while wearing the New England Patriots uniform.

The star held an enshrinement speech, and used the opportunity to thank many members of the Patriots family. Yes, Randy Moss didn’t forget to mention head coach Bill Belichick and owner Robert Kraft. There was a mention of assistant coach Dante Scarnecchia, too.

So, Moss focused his enshrinement ceremony on several bright spots. The Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony took place in Canton, Ohio.

Moss sure delivered an important message.

Fans would agree that he is the first-ballot receiver to play for several teams, including the Minnesota Vikings, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49rs.

One thing caught everyone’s attention. Moss wore a black tie with several names printed on it. Although it was partially hidden during the 17-minute speech, the football legend opened his gold jacket to reveal the tie in some of his subsequent interviews.

“What I wanted to express with my tie was to let these families know they’re not alone. I’m not here voicing, but by [having] these names on my tie, in a big platform like the Pro Football Hall of Fame, there’s a lot of stuff going on in our country and I just wanted these family members to know they’re not alone,” Moss said during his interview on NFL Network.

It was nice to see Moss thank every team he played with. He honored the New England Patriots, and appreciated the effort of Bill Belichick and Robert Kraft. They did the most brilliant thing, and traveled all the way to Canton to surprise Moss. The Patriots were the only team to accept Moss in times when nobody wanted to do anything with him.

And that’s how the former All-Pro thanked the world for all the opportunities he got.
