5 Major Things To Know Ahead Of The Patriots’ Third Preseason Game

The New England Patriots won the first two games in the preseason, and they are about to play their third preseason game. What will be the outcome of the matchup?

Friday will be a great day, and everyone will watch the third preseason game. The game against the Carolina Panthers is one of a kind, and it will actually be a warm-up for the regular season.

Maybe you should know a few more details before the start of the game.

Alex Guerrero traveled with the team

Tom Brady’s body coach and business partner joined the team on their flight to North Carolina. The information was confirmed by several sources. Although this was one of the privileges Guerrero lost, he still made the trip.

The Guerrero issue was probably one of the reasons for the tension between Brady and head coach Bill Belichick. Guerrero flew on the Air Kraft, but he won’t be on the sidelines Friday. There’s no place for any conflict of interest between the TB12 project and the Pats. That’s what rumors say. But, it seems like everything is fine now.

There’s an open spot at wide receiver

The team released Kenny Britt due to a hamstring injury. Britt will join the club of injured receivers along with Malcolm Mitchell and Jordan Matthews.

Cordarrelle Patterson will be the kick returner for the Pats, and he is also a traditional receiver. “He’s so dangerous when he gets the ball in his hands, and obviously, over the course of his entire career, that’s the way it’s been,” Brady said of Patterson.

Phillip Dorsett is also here, representing a dangerous deep threat. Eric Decker may be fresh in the game, but he can give his fellows a hand. Riley McCarron, Braxton Berrios, and Devin Lucien will join him.

Tom Brady will change his helmet
Yes, you read that right. The quarterback follows the new rules of the NFL, and will sure use his new helmet if gets to play in the third preseason game. Does Riddel Precision Fit SpeedFlex seem good enough for you? “For the most part, it’s really comfortable. I asked the guys, I said, ‘Do I look any younger or faster in it?’ They said, ‘Yes,’ so I feel like I might keep it,” Brady said.

Another Patriot suffered season-ending injury in the preseason
Isaiah Wynn tore his left Achilles’ tendon in the second preseason game. this will put him out of the entire season, and that’s the worst scenario for the offensive lineman. Head coach Bill Belichick is happy with his job so far.

Watch out for Rob Gronkowski – He’s the starter!
Rob Gronkowski said that he doesn’t know anything about the game against the Panthers and his presence. “It’s always a coach’s decision on whether or not I’m playing in these games or not. I’m ready at all times. Whatever it is this week, I don’t know the situation, but I’m ready to play. If I have to play, I’m ready to do whatever I get asked. I’ll prepare all week like I’m going to play, like I do every other week,” Gronk said.

Game on, guys!
