LeBron James Opens Up About His Retirement Plans

LeBron James is the ultimate basketball player, but he will have to retire at some point in near future. The NBA decided to talk about his future career plans, including the one related to his retirement announcement.

King James signed a four-year contract worth $154 million. He will be playing for the Los Angeles Lakers, hoping that the team will change its score on the chart. But, when will the 33-year-old player put an end to his brilliant career? After his retirement, Lebron will keep spreading the love for basketball, and tell the world what it’s like to be on the court.

“I will continue to do what I am doing now. I will travel across the world, being in my community and speaking about the game. Speaking the knowledge about whatever it is the youth wants to hear that they feel like they need to hear. What I am doing now is now just something for now, it is about longevity and it is what my passion is,” LeBron said of his life after basketball.

“It is what I know and what I believe in so I will always still be around the game and giving back to the game. I have a lot of knowledge about it and it is my responsibility to do it,” he added.

King James also spoke about his future roles, and his first film will be released later this month. “There are a few scripts getting written right now but I don’t want to talk about it too much,” the basketball star said. “You can look forward to seeing me on the big screen. Actually I’m in an animated movie coming out soon called Smallfoot so it is coming out this month – September 28.”

LeBron will have his Lakers debut in the game against the Denver Nuggets on October 1.
