Watch: Kenjon Barner Throws Shade at Former Teams After Joining Patriots

The New England Patriots picked up Kenjon Barner, and he seems to be fully incorporated in the culture of his new team.

Kenjon Barner joined the Patriots after Jeremy Hill was out for the season. Now the running back raves about the Patriots’ “attention to details.”

“From the time that I’ve been here, it reminds me a lot of what I did in college with Chip [Kelly at the University of Oregon]. They don’t waste time. There’s no time wasted and everything’s efficient. We can get our work done,” Barner said.

Does this mean that he’s throwing shade at his previous teams?

The running back won his first championship against the New England Patriots as an Eagle. He was playing with the Philadelphia Eagles at the time. Barner is a sixth-round pick out of Oregon, and the Carolina Panthers selected him in 2013. The running back was cut in 2014, and then played with the Eagles for four seasons. He was the team’s kick and punt returner. Barner returned three kicks for 73 net yards in Super Bowl LII.

Barner joined the Patriots to add depth after the loss of Hill and Sony Michel’s injury. He will definitely learn a few more skills with the Patriots. The team is known for their work-hard motto and awesome precision.

The New England Patriots are getting ready for the big season ahead, and they already won the season opener. The game against the Jacksonville Jaguars is one of the most important this season, especially if you take into consideration the fact that Jalen Ramsey already challenged the Patriots with his comments.

But, the Pats have strengthened their team, and they will definitely try to win Sunday’s game. Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have a nice chemistry, and their game is clean. Let’s see what happens on Sunday.
