LeBron James Fires Back At Trump After Another Insult
The President of the United States Donald Trump is raising eyebrows with his comments on LeBron James, and this time the king of basketball decided to ask him a question.
Well, it was more like a response to the President’s insult. President Trump insulted the basketball player and his intelligence, and LeBron wasn’t buying any of it. Same as any other citizen in this country, LeBron is concerned about the President having too much time on his hands to make comments on NBA stars.
“That’s like somebody saying I can’t play ball. That doesn’t bother me at all. What bothers me is that he has time to even do that. He has the most powerful job in the world. Like, you really got this much time that you can comment on me?” LeBron said in his interview with the Hollywood Reporter.
The king of basketball was responding to questions about the President’s insult on social media. This happened after a CNN interview in which LeBron criticized President Trump for “using sports to kind of divide us.” LeBron also promoted his new public school in his hometown Akron, Ohio.
“Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do,” the President tweeted in August. This shocked the country, as many people were wondering what was the President doing on social media after midnight.
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!

The First Lady doesn’t agree with her husband, and she believes that LeBron “is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation.”
The White House didn’t make any comments on LeBron’s remarks.
This wasn’t the first time President Trump launches attacks on top athletes and sports organizations. He even rescinded the White House invitation to the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles after they confirmed that several players won’t attend the event. Trump even criticized Nike for adding Colin Kaepernick to their 30th campaign Just Do It.
