LeBron James Did Not Think He Would Do THIS at Cleveland Cavaliers – Jefferson

LeBron James’ former teammate Richard Jefferson said the king of basketball never hoped to dominate the sport with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

LeBron is 33, and his best is yet to come. He left Cleveland earlier this summer, and signed a new contract with the Los Angeles Lakers on the first day of his free agency. This will be LeBron’s toughest battle, as the Lakers had hard time going through the last season. The signing of LeBron will change the team’s game, and many think that he’d take them to the NBA Championship. Jefferson was here to back him. He also said that LeBron didn’t even dream of dominating with the Cavs.

“When he went back to Cleveland, I promise you he didn’t go there thinking, ‘O.K., it’s time to go to four straight NBA finals.’ But would anyone really be surprised if the Lakers made the conference finals? He’s that good. Any time LeBron James steps on the court, he’s the best player on the court. There’s a bigger gap than I think many people would really believe,” Jefferson said.

The Lakers president of basketball operations Magic Johnson believes that LeBron will will struggle at the beginning. “As I was talking to Luke, we said don’t worry about it we get out to a bad start. We have seen that with LeBron James going to Miami, and we have seen that when he came back to Cleveland,” he said.

“He is going to struggle because there are so many new moving parts. But eventually we are going to get it, and we are going to be really a good team.”

The Lakers will challenge the Portland Trail Blazers on October 19. The Cavaliers will start their season with the Toronto Raptors the day before.

This will be a season to remember, and we have already made our predictions.
