Tom Brady Comments On Patriots Week 3 Loss To The Lions

The New England Patriots lost another game. Their Week 3 loss surprised everybody, and Patriots fans were convinced that their favorite team will win the game against the Detroit Lions.

The Patriots had another sloppy game, and this looks pretty much like the loss in Week 2. The team made the same mistakes, and even added a few more. This Week 3 loss should be a lesson for the Patriots. They fell to 1-2 on the season, and things don’t look too good for them. The Lions even put up a 13-0 lead in the first half.

“Two weeks where you get behind. Just not making enough plays early in the game. We’re behind and we’re just fighting uphill all day. It’s no way to play football, it’s no way to execute at a very high level and we’re just not doing anything well enough,” Brady said after the loss.

“I mean, there’s no magic play you can call. It just comes down to execution. We’re just not doing a good job. It’s not one thing, it’s everything that we need to do a better job of,” the quarterback said of the team’s slow starts on offense this season.

Brady completed 14 of his 26 passes for 133 yards, a touchdown and an interception. The Patriots offense couldn’t get things going, and Brady said that the team was just failing to execute.

“We’re not scoring enough points. We’re not executing well enough on a down-by-down basis certainly at a high level where our expectations should be set at. The process has been the same. There’s been a lot of talk of it in practice and we’re going through it, watching film, correcting stuff, it’s just not getting done on the field. We got to get it corrected soon,” Brady said.

When asked if the team can dig themselves out of the hole on offense, Brady didn’t make any predictions. He’s more into getting results. “We’ll see. I’m not going to make predictions. It’s about hard work, it’s about commitment, it’s about being discipline, it’s about doing the right thing and obviously we’re not doing a great job of that. We all got to get back to work, look at ourselves and figure out what we need to do to help the team win,” Brady added.

Let’s see how will things go next week.
