Stephen A. Smith Calls Patriots Best Fit For Le’Veon Bell

Le’Veon Bell is on the trade market, and he can easily fit in all 32 teams. He can do pretty much everything when it comes to offense.

We all know that Le’Veon Bell is an excellent runner, receiver and blocker. The league has acknowledged his capacity, and Bell is definitely a trade fit for everyone.

On ESPN’s First Take, Stephen A. Smith said that the New England Patriots are the best team for Bell. “I would say New England because Danny Amendola’s gone, Julian Edelman’s coming back. With him (Edelman) and Gronk (Rob Gronkowski), if you have a guy out of the backfield that can pass catch like a Le’Veon Bell, that would do wonders for Tom Brady and the New England Patriots,” Smith said.

But, the trade between the Patriots and Steelers would be quite a challenge. The Patriots beat up the Steelers almost always, and we do believe that the Steelers aren’t interested in making the Patriots better. The team is definitely not into making their game harder.

New England doesn’t really spend too much money on running backs. However, they picked Sony Michel with the No. 31 overall pick in the NFL Draft. The Patriots would never give up on a first round pick at a non-premium position for a name to replace him in the same year with a veteran superstar. Why wasting the pick?

The Patriots have enough weapons out of the backfield, and James White leads New England with 14 receptions. Rex Burkhead is also a dangerous receiver when in great condition. Bell can fit well in the Patriots game, but the team doesn’t need him as much as other NFL teams do.

The Patriots made an investment in running backs, and there’s no room for extra costs. Let’s see where will Bell land next.
