Tom Brady’s Wife Gisele Contemplated Suicide After Suffering From Panic Attacks

Gisele Bündchen is one of the most successful women to ever walk on Earth. She’s smart, gorgeous and popular. Tom Brady’s wife is living the time of her life, and nobody ever thought that she may be at the verge of committing a suicide. But, that actually happened.

Gisele offers more details in her new book, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life. She wrote about her life and her struggle with panic attacks. Nobody ever knew that Gisele Bündchen is struggling with panic attacks or suicide thoughts.

The supermodel opened about her battle. She had a perfect life, right? Well, things aren’t always the way they look.
The whole thing started soon after she put an end to her career with Victoria’s Secret. She was dating Leonardo DiCaprio at the time.

“I had a wonderful position in my career, I was very close to my family, and I always considered myself a positive person, so I was really beating myself up. Like, ‘Why should I be feeling this?’ I felt like I wasn’t allowed to feel bad. But I felt powerless. Your world becomes smaller and smaller, and you can’t breathe, which is the worst feeling I’ve ever had,” Bündchen said, admitting that she had her first panic attack in 2003.

Her panic attacks got worse and she also had them at home. “I actually had the feeling of, ‘If I just jump off my roof, this is going to end, and I never have to worry about this feeling of my world closing in,’” Gisele said.

She was really into taking medication, but changed her mind and decided to cut off bad habits and do yoga and meditation.

“I had been smoking cigarettes, drinking a bottle of wine and three mocha Frappucinos every day, and I gave up everything in one day. I thought, if this stuff is in any way the cause of this pain in my life, it’s gotta go,” the supermodel writes in her book.

Gisele is one of the many celebrities who took the courage to talk about their battles with mental issues.
