LeBron James Reveals His Plans For Preseason Games As Laker

LeBron James will enter the new season as a Laker, and that changes pretty much everything in the world of basketball. The preseason is about to start, and King James said he doesn’t need the preseason games to get ready. Well, he’s the king, right?

LeBron and the Los Angeles Lakers head coach Luke Walton already discussed over LeBron’s workload during the Lakers’ six-game exhibition schedule. What does LeBron think of the preseason games? No big deal.

King James was active in just one preseason game at the beginning of the 2017-18 campaign. He was rehabbing from an ankle injury and then played in all 82 regular season games. Amazing, right?

LeBron and Walton talked about LeBron’s 16th season in the NBA and his appearance in the opener.

“I don’t know. I don’t need preseason games [at this stage of my career] to get ready,” LeBron said. Let’s get things clear. LeBron doesn’t need any preseason game to get ready for the big challenge, and he isn’t injured at the moment. This is more like an injury prevention. “I feel great,” LeBron said.

A Lakers official confirmed that there’s already an “unprecedented demand” for preseason games. The six games are close to sellouts, officials say that more tickets will be issued on a “limited availability.”

The Lakers will play on Sunday at the Valley View Casino Center, on Oct. 2 against Denver at Staples Center, Oct. 4 against the Sacramento Kings at Staples, Oct. 6 against the Clippers at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Oct. 10 against the Golden State Warrors at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, and Oct. 12 against Golden State at the SAP Center in San Jose.

The team will have to play really hard. They’ve got a few new members, and LeBron will have to find a way to work with young talents and veterans.
