Report: Josh Gordon Reacts To Patriots Debut

Josh Gordon made his Patriots debut on Sunday in the game against the Miami Dolphins.

The New England Patriots won the contest, and Gordon had his role in it. The wide out was limited in practice due to his hamstring injury and didn’t play in the team’s matchup against the Detroit Lions. However, this week Gordon got the chance to play, and his Patriots debut was brilliant.

“It took a lot of effort and time and work put in, studying. All around just a concerted effort from the training staff and what I can do on my end to try and make it work, but it was an awesome experience. I really enjoyed it and it’s a great opportunity,” the wide out said.

Gordon had the start and played in limited style during the game. He caught both of his targets in the magnificent win.

“He’s just putting in a lot of work. A lot of time trying to understand where to line up and what to do and, you know, came up with some big plays today. Kind of got us going in certain areas and everyone played pretty good who was out there today. It was great to have him out there,” quarterback Tom Brady said.

Gordon is super excited about the chance of playing alongside the GOAT. “I mean it’s just awesome catching a pass from Tom at any point in time. He’s been rooting for me and it’s been awesome to have his support and his love as well as the rest of the teammates and staff here. Tom’s a passionate guy and I love that and I love the game of football and I think we’re going to mesh just fine,” the wide out said.

The Gordon will take a role into the offense and eventually turn into an impact player in Foxboro.
