Cedi Osman Reveals Adorable Text LeBron James Sent Him After He Left Cleveland

LeBron James and Cedi Osman spent some nice time together in Cleveland. LeBron was even interested in Osman’s cultural background, and their friendship broke every cultural barrier. King James will never forget his former teammate Osman despite the fact that he’s now part of a different team.

LeBron James left the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this summer and signed a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. The Cavaliers weren’t mad at him for leaving them for the second time in his professional career. LeBron helped them win a championship, and the team will never forget that. That’s the only championship they won in 52 years. Cedi Osman is grateful for LeBron’s role in the organization, and he even said that they’re still in touch.

Osman talked to reporters about LeBron’s departure from Cleveland and their relationship this summer.

“I was so happy when I saw him (James). But besides that we was texting to each other, so I was always texting him. I was letting him know what I’m doing because when we met in Vegas, the next day I was going back home and he was like, ‘Hey when you get back home, text me so I know you’re okay.’ Every time something good happens I was letting him know and when we met in L.A., I was so happy to see him again,” Osman said.

Osman will try to fill the empty spot LeBron left behind. This may be a mission impossible, but Osman learned a lot. His rookie campaign was brilliant, and he showed everyone that he’s more than capable of competing in the league.

The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Osman on the night of the 2015 NBA Draft, and signed him in July 2017. Osman competed internationally in the interim, and entered the league with ease. He has excellent talent, and the Cavaliers will sure use that.
