Danny Amendola Reacts To Playing Against Patriots In Week 4 Game

Danny Amendola is one of the players who left the New England Patriots in the offseason. Many players left the team in the free agency, and eve criticized head coach Bill Belichick on the way out. He called him “an a**hole sometimes,” and added that “there were a lot of things I didn’t like about playing for him, but I must say, the things I didn’t like were all in regards to getting the team better, and I respected him. I didn’t like practicing in the snow, I didn’t like practicing in the rain, but that was going to make us a better football team and that was going to make me a better football player.”

Everybody was surprised when Danny Amendola decided to sign a contract with the Miami Dolphins. That’s the AFC East rival of the New England Patriots. So, if Amendola is healthy all the time, he will have two chances of challenging the Patriots per year. He will have the first chance on Sunday, and he already told the Miami media that he’s ready to go against his former teammates.

“I’m going to be on the other side of the field. That’s it. I’ve played there before so I’ve had a lot of experience playing there. I’m excited to get back up there,” Amendola said.

Patriots fans were longing for Amendola in the first three games of this season. Julian Edelman is serving his suspension, and Brandin Cooks was traded right after Amendola’s departure. The Patriots didn’t even think that things would go this far, and that their receiving unit will face serious issues. Maybe they’d offer Amendola $4 million per year. That’s the amount of money he will be getting from the Dolphins.

Amendola has 11 catches this season and he’s exactly what the team needed him to be.
