Rob Gronkowski Gives Simple Advice To New Patriot Josh Gordon

Josh Gordon is joining the New England Patriots, and his new teammates already came forward with an advice for him. Rob Gronkowski was the first to advice the wide out, and yes, he did a really good job there.

Work hard. Do your hob. That explains it all,” Rob Gronkowski said after Gordon’s first practice with the Patriots.

The 27-year-old wide receiver arrived in New England via a trade deal. He was dealing with so many off-the-field issues during his time with the Browns, and he played in just 11 of his 66 games. The Cleveland Browns sent him to Foxboro this week. Gordon missed Sunday’s matchup because he suffered a hamstring injury during a promotional photo shoot.

Gordon may be a troubled player, but he has an excellent potential. He was one of the greatest wide receivers during the 2013 season, and had 87 catches for 1,646 yards and nine touchdowns.

“He’s a really good player. It’s good to have him here. … I’ve never really practiced with him like that before or seen him in person play. But from what I’ve seen before, he’s definitely a great player, and I’m definitely glad to have him here,” Gronk said of his new teammate.

The Patriots signed and released numerous names, and Gordon was the last addition. When asked what was wrong with the players who were released before him, Gronkowski said that “they weren’t doing their job.” Makes a point.
Gordon was limited in practice today, but he will have his Patriots debut in Sunday’s matchup against the Detroit Lions.

Head coach Bill Belichick didn’t make any comments on the newly arrived player, but said that the team would never make a move to hurt the game and the organization. Let’s see if the Patriots are right to give Gordon a chance.
