Tom Brady Makes Bold Statement About James White

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady never thinks twice before giving his opinion on the team’s mistake. The New England Patriots star quarterback answered questions related to the team after the terrible loss to the Detroit Lions. At one point, Brady was asked a question about James White.

When asked about his teammates, Brady always gives a straightforward praise of the Patriot and moves on. However, he did things in a different way. Brady said something that suggested that he didn’t really buy in to whatever the game plan was with James White in the past two weeks.

“Tom, what do you have to do to get James White involved in the offense? It just seems like when he does get more involved, then good things happen,” reporters asked.

“Yeah, he had a great catch, and had some good runs there at the end. He’s just a great player for us. So, you’re right. He’s gotta be involved. Guys who can make plays are the ones that should be involved. And James is certainly one of them,” the quarterback responded.

“Guys who can make plays are the ones that should be involved.” Read that again.

Some would say that this comment was related to the players who weren’t able to make plays and still got involved. But, if you think better, you’d realize that Brady was just trying to point out the importance of James White for the game. He should’ve been involved in the play.

Hearing Brady suggest a strategical change to the game plan is not a common thing. Maybe he was referring to Sony Michel. The rookie first-rounder was involved in the offensive game plan and caught one pass and dropped another. Michel couldn’t connect with Brady, and that was irritating for some players.

How will the Patriots solve their problem with the offensive line?
