Watch: Dorsett Makes Fingertip Touchdown Catch

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is the happiest men on planet Earth at the moment. The Patriots lost the game against the Detroit Lions, but it seems like they will win this one. Cordarrelle Patterson, James White and Phillip Dorsett have learned their lesson.

Phillip Dorsett had the second touchdown of the season, and it’s definitely a touchdown for the highlight reel.

The Patriots had a 15-play, 85 yard drive at the end of the first half. The drive ended with Dorsett hauling in a 9-yard touchdown. With his fingertips, of course. This was just enough for him to somersault as the Patriots went out to the 24-0 lead.

In this matchup, Dorsett caught three of his four catches for 35 yards and this touchdown.

The touchdown also happened thanks to James White. The receiver drew the attention of the Dolphin’s defense.
In the first half of the contest, quarterback Tom Brady completed 13 of his 22 passes for 154 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. The Patriots offense was more in sync when compared to the last few weeks. Brady is able to spread the ball around aiming at seven different pass catchers. That’s a good thing.

Cordarrelle Patters is the first Patriot to score in this game as he succeeded in bringing in a 55-yard touchdown catch at the beginning of the game.

The Patriots are also doing a good job on the ground rushing for 118 yards on 5.6 yards per carry with a touchdown between White and Sony Michel.

The team is playing really great in terms of defense. The Patriots’ defense has held the Dolphins just 75 yards of total offense, and managed to hold their opponents to just one conversion on those six third down attempts.
If the Patriots manage to hold up to such pace, they will sure put an end to their sloppy season.
