Watch: James Whacks Reporter’s Lil Wayne Question

LeBron James brought his fresh ideas in Los Angeles this summer, and basketball is the only thing that pops in his mind at the moment. The king of basketball will have his debut with the Los Angeles Lakers in October, and that’s the only thing that matters. Reporters keep asking him questions, but King James won’t talk about anything else, and he’s definitely not interested in talking about non-basketball topics. The same applies to Lil Wayne and his new music.

The king wasn’t really thrilled at the moment reporters started asking him off-topic questions. One of them wanted to chat about Lil Wayne and his returning to the rap scene. But, LeBron didn’t say much. Moreover, he had the perfect response for the question.

Lil Wayne dropped his ‘Tha Carter V’ album this week, and it’s his first album since 2015. That’ the hottest topic in the world of rap music this week, but LeBron sort of disapproved the way reporters set the question.

“What’s it mean to have Lil Wayne back in the game with the Carter V?” the reporter asked.

“Where did he go? He didn’t go anywhere. Wayne’s been making music how long? Since ’96,” LeBron added.

He’s right about this one, and he’s definitely right about his attitude. Reporters seem to be asking the wrong questions, and the king doesn’t tolerate that. LeBron doesn’t show much tolerance for questions that don’t apply to his basketball career.

LeBron signed a four-year contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, and reporters still ask him questions about earning Lakers’ fans trust and loyalty. The NBA star laughed at all those questions, because yes, it’s silly. He signed a deal and there isn’t pretty much anything else he can do. King James arrived in town and that means a lot for him and his family. It’s time for people to realize his impact.
