Watch: LeBron James Ripped Browns Kicker Zane Gonzalez For Terrible Performance

The Cleveland Browns drafted Zane Gonzales in the seventh round, and he was the 224th overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft. The placekicker played college football at Arizona State before being drafted in the National Football League.

Zane Gonzales had a nice portfolio after college. He received the 2016 Lou Groza Award which is an award that’s usually given to the nation’s best kicker. Zane’s portfolio also includes an unanimous selection to the 2016 College Football All-America Team.

But, he didn’t have a bright start of the season. Gonzales missed a PAT kick that would’ve given his team the lead. This didn’t happen, and the Browns kept it tied at 18-18. He had three seconds left of the game, and missed a 52-yard field goal which would have definitely tied the game. It was their huge loss. Instead of winning the game, the Browns lost yet another game. Will they ever win?

In the first two games of the regular season, Gonzales scored 2-for-5 on field goals, and 3-for-5 on extra points. He missed a winning kick in overtime against the Pittsburgh Steelers last week, and also missed an extra point that would’ve helped the Browns win the game.

Let’s just put it this way. Too many people are angry at him, and LeBron James is one of them.

LeBron James will always have a special place in his heart for Cleveland, and the Browns are his favorite team. But, he was super angry at Gonzales, and even posted a video about it. It was definitely an unpleasant surprise for everybody, and many say that LeBron may go back to the Cowboys.

Gonzales had a bad performance, and experts say that the coaches will engage free agent kickers for try-outs. If any of them brings success to the team, Gonzales will be left out in the rain.
