Watch: Patriots Defense Calls Out Lions Offensive Play

The Detroit Lions offense has really struggled with predictability, and they opened their season with a loss to the New York Jets. The New England Patriots are ready to confront them this Sunday, and the game is about to start. Is the Patriots defense ready for the Lions?

In the first quarter, the Lions offense was trying to settle in, and the Patriots defense was seen pointing and talking as the Lions were making a line. The run play wasn’t the best we’ve seen, and LeGarrette Bliunt struggled hard to get back to the line of scrimmage. The Lions were lucky not to lose more yardage on the move, and the team couldn’t really disguise their play. The Patriots defense knew what was coming their way.

Detroit rolled down the field and kicked his early field goal to make a 3-0 lead. However, this is not a typical Lions move when it comes to disguising. The Patriots are the master team in the League when it comes to getting a scouting advantage for specific plays. The Jets could also predict the Lions’ moves during the opening game.

The Lions have made several offensive changes in the offseason. They added Luke Willson, and subtracted Eric Ebron. However, the power of the team is still in the bunch of pass catchers aligned to work with Matthew Stafford and the quarterbacks. The team has a serious depth at the wideout spot, enforced by Golden Tate, Marvin Jones, and Kenny Golladay.

So, the Lions have rebuilt their offensive line and running game, meaning they have probably made one of the deepest offense lines int he league. This group will definitely pile up the statistics this season, and they may win some big games. Will they win tonight? Let’s wait and find out. The Patriots are pretty serious about their win today.
