Todd Gurley Delivers Astonishing Praise to Patriots RB James White

Todd Gurley is the ultimate running back in the NFL, and it’s always nice when you see him praising other great athletes. This time he expressed his praise for New England Patriots running back James White.

Well, it is true that White was great in the last few games. That’s why Todd Gurley called him “a touchdown machine.”Being complimented by a fellow quarterback is the greatest honors of them all.

This came as a surprise for NFL players, as Gurley is known for his attacks on the league. Instead of trashing another aspect of the NFL, Gurley decided to suggest that everyone should pay more attention to James White.

White is an excellent player, and New England is using his talent in the best way possible. As a receiving back, White recorded 400 yards through the air each year since 2015, and has made 16 touchdowns since then. He got over 500 yards rushing and 3 touchdowns on the ground during this time.

The running back holds 271 yards through the air at the moment, and has 4 touchdowns to go along with them. White has 110 yards on the ground.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is amazed with his teammate. “Yeah, he had a great catch, and had some good runs there at the end. He’s just a great player for us. So, you’re right. He’s gotta be involved. Guys who can make plays are the ones that should be involved. And James is certainly one of them,” Brady said about White’s involvement in the game.

“I don’t think you could ask any more of a teammate than what James provides us and the trust that everyone has in him. I feel like he never makes a mistake, and it’s pretty amazing to have that. You know, we’ve had some great sub backs and James is right in the mold of all those other guys – Kevin Faulk and Shane [Vereen] and Danny Woodhead. James has his own way of doing it, but what an incredible play he made on the screen play, amongst many other great plays, and I love playing with him,” Brady said in August.
