Lakers Media Reacts To Preseason Game Vs. Warriors

The Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors had the preseason game, and it was definitely a thing. These teams are making headlines for a good reason. The Lakers and Warriors will play a few great games in the next few years, and this matchup was more like a warm-up.

Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant lead the game of the Golden State Warriors . The Lakers had LeBron James on the floor, and he played alongside the entire Lakers rotation.

Both teams played each other evenly. The Lakers held their own against the champions. The Warriors did not give this game to their opponents. Every player literally earned every bucket they made. The Lakers is far from a finished product, but it was strong enough to challenge the greatest team in the league. NBA fans were thrilled to watch the game, and the media had some quite interesting reactions.

Lakers games attract everyone’s attention, and this one was played in Las Vegas. Shaquille O’Neal made his way to the game, and said hello to Lakers brass. “Shaquille O’Neal is here wandering around courtside. Just went over and hugged Magic Johnson and then took his seat I think,” Tania Ganguli tweeted.

The Lakers scored the first basket in their battle against the Warriors. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope had a nice three pointer, and it was the first bucket of the matchup. The Lakers led the Warriors. They may not get the chance to do that really often in the season, but it was nice to see them challenging the league’s greatest.

The Lakers did not plan to bring Ball into the game. However, they changed the plan, and Ball’s addition to the game was a great idea. “Lonzo’s in early here after Rondo’s 2nd foul at the 9:46 mark, which gives the Lakers a chance to see how Ball looks with the starters,” Mike Trudell tweeted.
