Julian Edelman Comments On Addition Of Josh Gordon

Patriots are really impressed by Josh Gordon, and he has not disappointed the team in every single game he played in. Julian Edelman really likes Gordon’s game.

The wide out impressed the coaching staff, too. He came to New England to strengthen the offense, and he is really productive on the field. In the Thursday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, Gordon hauled in both of his targets for 50 yards and a 34-yard touchdown catch. Julian Edelman is still getting to know him. Edelman came back from his suspension last week, he is really happy that Gordon is on the Patriots’ side.

“Dude works hard. Great teammate. I really think he could be a really big piece of us [on offense]. It’s exciting to be around him. He loves football, you can tell. He works hard, knows his stuff. It’s getting more and more fun the more he knows [the offense],” Edelman said.

Edelman is yet another Patriot that is really impressed by the new member of the family. Quarterback Tom Brady expressed his faith in Gordon, and that 34-yard touchdown catch strengthened his faith.

“Yeah, I saw him kind of break free. I saw the guy underneath him and he took a good angle at the pylon and when I threw it I thought that he could get his eyes on the ball before the defender could just based on the position and that’s what ended up happening. Josh went up and went through both those guys to make the play. Again, I think I said after the game, it just speaks to the trust I have in him in a very short period of time to make those plays,” Brady said during his appearance on WEEI’s Kirk and Callahan.

Let’s wait to see the best of Gordon. He sure has a lot to offer.
