Injury Report: WR Josh Gordon Leaves The Game Vs. Chiefs

Was this just a bad luck? Josh Gordon hit the ground really hard after Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Steven Nelson talked the Patriots receiver as he was rushing down the field in an attempt to catch a pass from quarterback Tom Brady.

Josh Gordon went to the blue medical tent, and fans panicked. Will he leave the game? Are the Patriots in danger of losing the game? But, the receiver left the tent within a few minutes and went back on the bench. Oh, yes, he even got a fist bump from Julian Edelman.

This is good news for the New England Patriots as Gordon was given a great role on the field. He is considered a reliable target for Tom Brady since landing in Foxboro. Brady was amazed with the new player, and we do not get to see him talking like this about all the players who spent some time in the Patriots locker room.

The same applies to Julian Edelman, too. Gordon was acquired via a trade deal with the Cleveland Browns. The team traded him because of his trouble past and his injury, and the Patriots were happy to welcome him. Gordon arrived in Foxboro during Edelman’s four-game suspension, and when Edelman came back, he was surprised to see the new player working hard.

The Patriots seem to have a strong offense and defense now that all the players are active. The team cannot afford an injury, and players better be careful throughout games and practice. Losing a receiver would be a terrible scenario for the Patriots as they struggled a lot to strengthen the receiver squad.

This game is really important, and if New England wins, head coach Bill Belichick could finally accept the fact that his guys are great. Well, they look like the Super Bowl team they used to be, right?
