Watch: Dont’a Hightower’s Interception Sets Up Sony Michel’s Touchdown

The New England Patriots are challenging the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Pats were the first to reach the end zone. This is the most talked about game so far, and the Patriots seem to be really confident about their plays. Linebacker Dont’a Hightower had a huge role in the touchdown that brought the Patriots up 10-3 in the first quarter of the game.

The one-play drive happened thanks to Hightower. The linebacker intercepted Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at the 31-yard line, then returned it 27-yards outside of the end zone. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and his teammates rushed into the field, and Brady passed the ball to Sony Michel. This was a great opportunity for the rookie running back as he powered 4 yards in for the score.

This is Michel’s third touchdown. The first round rookie is doing a great job in the game. He already marks 47 yards on 6.7 yards per carry in the matchup. Michel was questionable, but things have developed in the right direction.

The back was limited in practice due to his knee injury, but recovered right on time. This score confirms that he is healthy enough to help his teammates win the Sunday Night Football game.

The Patriots are holding on nicely. The team practiced for their big match, and NFL experts agree that this would be one of the most interesting contests to watch this season. The Chiefs have a pretty good season, and Patrick Mahomes has already reached for the stars. The quarterback is super positive about the outcome of this matchup, and believes in his talent. Mahomes said that he is excited to confront Brady, and some said that he was too confident for an unexperienced quarterback. Let’s see how will things end for both teams. Who is winning this one?
