Bill Belichick Raves About Stephen Gostowski After Big Game Vs. Chiefs

Patriots fans are losing their minds after their favorite team defeated the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. The New England Patriots had a brilliant win 43-40 win over the Chiefs. Quarterback Tom Brady and the rest of the guys worked in a perfect sync. That’s where all the scores came from. But, head coach Bill Belichick was amazed with one special player. Stephen Gostkowski.

Tom Brady got all the praise, and he sure deserved that, but sometimes people forget about the rest of the guys who worked really hard to win the game. Head coach Belichick is here to remind everyone of Stephen Gostkowski and his greatness.

Adam Vinatieri had a great game with the Patriots, but his departure left an empty spot on the roster. Gostkowski fits in perfectly, and he is brilliant on the field. He had a huge role during Sunday’s game against the Chiefs, and was able to knock down all four of his extra points and went 5-for-5 in field goal attempts. Let’s not forget the game-winning score.

Belichick may not be too loud when praising his players, but he never misses an opportunity to say a word or two when someone does anything good.

The head coach went on WEEI’s Ordway, Merloni and Fauria, and spoke about Gostkowski. “Steve has been tremendously consistent. He works hard. He trains well. He is in good shape. He has a strong leg. He is very poised and disciplined. He doesn’t get rattled. He doesn’t get that high on the big kicks and doesn’t get that low if something goes wrong. He is really steady and consistent. I’ve been so fortunate here to have two great, great kickers. I have never really worried about that position, thankfully,” he said.

Gostkowski got off to another consistent start to the season. Keep up the good job, Gostkowski!
