New England Patriots Release Thursday Injury Report

The New England Patriots are ready for the Chicago Bears, but they will play without one starter. The team has released the Thursday injury report, and we noticed that too many players were limited in practice.

Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon did not participate in practice for the second day in a row. His status is in doubt for Sunday’s game. Reports noted that Cannon may be cleared to suit up for the contest, but according to Jeff Howe, there is a huge possibility that LaAdrian Waddle starts at right tackle. The injury report has the names of other players, too.

Cannon recovers from the concussion he “earned” in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs. It was more than clear that his condition is serious as he did not come back for the fourth quarter. Losing a starter may not be the best thing in the world, but Waddle knows how to handle Bears top linebacker Khalil Mack as he confronted him when he was part of the Raiders last season in the Patriots’ matchup with Oakland in Mexico City. This may be a relieving factor after all.

The Bears are missing star linebacker Khalil Mack due to an ankle injury. Allen Robinson also missed the practice due to a groin injury.
