LeBron James Sets Personal Record In Lakers Debut

The LeBron era officially began. The king of basketball had his Lakers debut, and Thursday was a big day for NBA fans. The Los Angeles Lakers challenged the Portland Trail Blazers, and it was a game filled with dunks and whirling passes. The Lakers had an early lead, but lost the game to their opponents.

The Lakers still have problem with their shooting, and there are so many things the defense needs to work on. Fans are concerned about the fact that there was no defined rotation. ESPN Stats & Info reported that LeBron never scores more than 12 points in his first quarter of season-openers. Scoring 13 means that he set a new best when it comes to starting the regular season.

However, even LeBron’s best score did not help the Lakers beat the Trail Blazers. When the king left the game, the Blazers railed back from a 10-point deficit and took the lead.

The Lakers expected these issues as the roster changed a lot throughout the offseason. The arrival of LeBron affected the team’s play, and some veterans are still trying to fit in the roster.
