Patriots Reveal Gronkowski Dealing With New Injury

The New England Patriots have released the game statuses for Sunday’s contest against the Chicago Bears. Starting right tackle Marcus Cannon was ruled out after he missed all of the practice this week due to a concussion. LaAdrian Waddle is taking his position thanks to his history against Bears star linebacker Khalil Mack. Rob Gronkowski is also dealing with an injury.

The Patriots are plagued with injury, and that’s one of the many reasons they lost two games in the regular season. Rob Gronkowski was limited all week due to his ankle injury. That’s not all. The tight end is also dealing with back injury. Gronkowski was limited in practice on Friday and is considered questionable for Sunday. This is a rather concerning scenario if you take into consideration Gronk’s injury history.

Gronk had three surgeries during his professional career due to his back injury. He had the third surgery in 2016 during the New England Super Bowl LI championship season.
