Lonzo Ball Addresses A Possible Suspension For Rajon Rondo

The Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Texans heated up the court, and things escalated in no time. Several players got involved in an incident, and we also witnessed a few punches. The NBA does not tolerate such fights, and it will sure suspend some of the players. Rajon Rondo, Chris Paul, and Brandon Ingram may be suspended, and Lonzo Ball is ready to step in.

Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul got a little physical during the stoppage of the play with 4:13 remaining in the fourth quarter. There is a huge possibility that both players are suspended, and the Lakers already have a replacement for their veteran player. Lonzo Ball confirmed that he is 100 percent ready to go if he is asked to take the starting lineup.

Ball is still dealing with his knee issue as he had a surgery in the offseason. The player was out of the basketball court for five months, but according to him, he can come back at any time. Lonzo played four games, and two of them were in the preseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers worked Ball from the operation, and brought him off the bench in all four contests while keeping a minutes restriction in place. If Rondo gets suspended, Ball will no longer be able to sit out the games.

“I’m 100 percent. I’m ready to go,” Ball said of his condition after the 124-115 loss to the Rockets.

Lakers head coach Luke Walton was not ready to bring Ball in the game, but it seems like he will have to change plans.

Lonzo played 19 minutes in the season opener and another 26 with the Rockets. He had 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists.

“It’s getting better with every game. hopefully a few more games, I should be back to full speed,” Ball said.
