Tom Brady Congratulates Adam Vinatieri On Becoming The League’s All-Time Leading Scorer

Indianapolis Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri became the NFL’s all-time leading scorer, and that’s something you celebrate. The kicker received hundreds of congratulatory messages, and New England Patriots Tom Brady was there, too.

Legendary Indianapolis players congratulated Adam Vinatieri on his brilliance, and the Colts put the video on Twitter. The Patriots quarterback lauded Vinatieri for becoming the all-time leading scorer.

“Hey Adam. congratulations on the NFL scoring record. What an incredible accomplishment. You deserve it. You made the biggest kicks in the biggest games and I loved playing with you. And I’m always cheering for you, except when you’re playing against the Patriots. But I love you, man. Congrats,” Brady said.

The Indianapolis kicker broke the record with his 25-yard field goal with just 26 seconds left in the first half of his team’s game against the Oakland Raiders. This brought his total to 2,547 points, and that’s three more than Morten Andersen. Vinatieri entered history with his 25-yarder.

The kicker scored 1,156 points during his time in new England, and fans will remember him as a Patriot with many accomplishments. Vinatieri had his two Super Bowl-winning field goals and his 45-yard field goal in a snow storm wearing a Patriots uniform. He scored one of these as a Colt in his 13th season in Indianapolis.

Vinatieri is a great player and a future Hall of Famer. The Colts convinced him to ink a one-year contract to keep him around, and we know that he is making evaluations at the end of every regular season just to determine his next move. Vinatieri is not slowing down, and he will sure play a couple of seasons to break another record. He owns 16 NFL records, and is as humble as he can be. That’s how great people play. Without all the bragging and stuff. Congratulations, Vinatieri, you are the best!
