Julian Edelman Assessment of Josh Gordon Give Chills To The NFL

Patriots receiver Julian Edelman was suspended for the first month of the regular season due to a violation of the PEDs policy. Julian was out of Foxboro for a while, and the Patriots signed him in the meantime. The team acquired the receiver through a trade deal with the Cleveland Browns.

Gordon is known as a troubled player. He had mental health issues and problems with drugs. However, Gordon got the help he needed, and it costed him some on-field time. That’s one of the reasons the Browns had to trade him. This does not change the fact that Gordon is a brilliant player, and the Patriots can sure use his help throughout the season.

“Dude works hard. Great teammate. I really think he could be a really big piece of us [on offense]. It’s exciting to be around him. He loves football, you can tell. He works hard, knows his stuff. It’s getting more and more fun the more he knows [the offense],” Edelman said of Gordon.

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is also impressed by Gordon. In one of his recent interviews, Brady talked about the new player, and he had words of praise.

“Yeah, I saw him kind of break free. I saw the guy underneath him and he took a good angle at the pylon and when I threw it I thought that he could get his eyes on the ball before the defender could just based on the position and that’s what ended up happening. Josh went up and went through both those guys to make the play. Again, I think I said after the game, it just speaks to the trust I have in him in a very short period of time to make those plays,” Brady said.

Well, we cannot do anything but agree with them.
