LeBron Calls Out Jim Boeheim For Being Mad About Darius Bazley’s Shoe Contract

The Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James was caught in a middle of a situation with Syracuse head coach Jim Boeheim. This was more like a war of words, and they exchanged tweets. LeBron took the problem to a higher level using Boeheim’s comments about NBA prospect Darius Bazley.

When asked about the $1 million shoe internship Bazley has with New Balance, Jim Boeheim said that LeBron “did a nice job helping his client. He’s a LeBron James client, right?”

LeBron James did not buy any of these comments, and responded with a tweet.

Well, LeBron assumed Boeheim’s comments are meant to be sarcastic, and Boeheim responded that he is not mad, adding that he is actually happy for Bazley. “Not me! I’m happy for him! I wish him the best!” he responded in a tweet.

LeBron has a few good reasons to think that Boeheim might be associated with Bazley’s situation. Bazley first planned to go to Syracuse, but decided to change his plans after all. Bazley was never part of the G League. He inked a deal with agent Rich Paul and took his mind off the G League plans. If by any chance you forgot it, Paul is LeBron James’ agent.

Lebron interpreted Boeheim’s comments as the head coach is upset about Bazley’s decision to leave Syracuse.
This made us ask a few questions. Is Boeheim actually mad that he lost out on one of his recruits? Or did King James try too hard reading into Boeheim’s comments?

Well, LeBron knows what he is doing, and he does not enter a war of words for nothing. We really hope that both sides will come with a decent explanation on their attitude. Maybe even Bazley will help us understand the base of the problem. But, this is not the first time we witness anything like this.
