LeBron James Jokes About His Sons And Their Wine ‘Passion’

We often get to read about LeBron James and his great passion for wine. But, do you know that even his sons Bronny and Bryce Maximus share the same interest as their father? Yes, and King James talked about his sons’ wine passion.

“Everything that they (younger Los Angeles Lakers teammates) listen to these days, my 14-year-old and my 11-year-old, they watch do. I got very mature 14- and 11-year-olds. My 14- and 11-year-olds drink wine. That’s how mature they are. They’ll be driving next week too,” the Laker said. Well, it sure is awkward hearing LeBron talking about his kids’ wine passion.

LeBron opened the topic at the moment reporters asked about the pop culture he picked up from his younger teammates. That’s when he said he allows his kids to drink. This sure is a topic that would fill headlines for the next couple of weeks.

The king of basketball said that his children can drink “whatever dad’s and mom’s having. Put it on me, though. Don’t put it on mom. Put it on dad, put it on dad.” That’s what LeBron said when reporters asked if Bronny and Bryce prefer white or red wine.

The four-time NBA MVP attracted everyone’s attention for his interest in wine. We all remember his social media post in which he shows off six opened bottles in his home. Their combined retail value was over $3,000.

LeBron seems to be following the example of French people. In France and a few other cultures, children are allowed to have some wine with their parents or other family members during meals. This habit is supposed to keep kids more moderate in their intake as they grow older.

Bronny and Bryce Maximus are under the legal drinking age, but LeBron James does not seem to be bothered with that. LeBron is a noted connoisseur after all.
