LeBron James Just Cleared Things Up About Timberwolves’ Derrick Rose

LeBron James made a big comment on Minnesota Timberwolves guard Derrick Rose, and it is one of those comments you expect from a former teammate.

King James described Derrick Rose as a misunderstood person, saying that all “he just wants to play ball and be with his son.” The comments were reported by Dane Moore of 1500 ESPN.

The Timberwolves guard was actually the lone player standing between King James and four straight MVP seasons. They played 16 games wearing the same jersey, but they can say a lot about each other as they had enough time to learn the pros and cons of themselves.

Derrick Rose observers are split in two groups. The first are patiently waiting for him to get his MVP form in real Tiger Woods comeback style. The others just say that his best game is well behind him. Both groups of observers often engage in a discussion whether Rose can offer some more of him.

Rose’s career did not took the right direction as he was plagued by serious knee injuries that put him in the shadow of the brilliant player he once was in his time with the Chicago Bulls.

The guard left The Windy City, and fans questioned his motivation and mettle. Things got worse when everyone noticed that he has been missing practices without any notice and preferred to spend more time with his family. Well, we quite understand that.

In 2017, Rose considered leaving the game after he suffered an injury early in the season as a Cavalier. However, he decided to come back and became part of a three-team trade. He was winged by the Utah Jazz and signed a contract with the Timberwolves.

Rose has a great contribution to the team, and was able to put up 14.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists under a reserve role.
