LeBron James Sent Message To Lakers Teammates After Rockets Fight
The Los Angeles Lakers lost the game to the Houston Rockets, and that’s not the worst part of the contest. Players from both teams got into a fight, an the NBA has already handed the first suspensions. Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul exchanged punches with just four minutes remaining in the match. Brandon Ingram got involved, too. What did the king of basketball do? LeBron James pulled Paul away after the brawl broke out.
LeBron and Paul are a good friends, and he was just concerned about the game. LeBron explained that the game was the only thing that popped in his mind through the altercation.
The brawl broke out after the incident with Ingram and James Harden. Paul and Rondo punched each other, and LeBron had to pull Paul away.
King James talked to reporters ahead of the match against the San Antonio Spurs.
“I didn’t think anything of it. It’s next man up. Everybody has to do their job. Some people will get more minutes than they would with BI (Ingram) and Rondo in the line-up. They’ll have to just do their role and do their job,” LeBron said.
Reporters asked LeBron if he pulled Paul away just because they are friends, and the king cracked a joke. “Nah, all I care about is trying to get the thing over with so we can get back to the game. That’s what was on my mind, just separating the whole altercation, helping referees out. We’re not friends anymore,” LeBron laughed.
The Lakers did not have the best start to the season, and they lost two games. But, King James is not disappointed at all.
I just look forward to seeing what we’re going to do tonight. We’re playing well enough to win, and well enough to lose, if that makes any sense. We’ll see what happens tonight,” he said.
