Patriots receiver made headlines earlier this month when he rocked a No. 11 Boston Celtics jersey during a press conference after the Patriots majestic win over the Indianapolis Colts. If by any chance you did not know it, this is the number of Kyrie Irving.

Kyrie Irving announced his decision to re-sign with the team next offseason. However, Edelman’s jersey had his name on the back. He sports No. 11 for the New England Patriots after all.

When Irving saw Edelman’s unique jersey, he wondered if it is possible to have the No. 11 Patriots jersey made with his own name on the back.

“It passed by me before it got to him. I’m appreciative of him. He’s a great person. Hopefully, I’ll ask the Patriots if they can give me a No. 11 jersey with my name on the back, just like Edelman. That’d be nice,” Irving said on Edelman’s personalized jersey.
