Los Angeles Lakers Expected Starters Vs. Houston Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets have something in common. Both teams had a bad start of the season. They really hoped to open the 2018 NBA season with a win, but that did not happen.

The Lakers lost the first game to the Portland Trail Blazers due to poor shooting and defense issues. The Houston Rockets had the same problems in the contest against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The outcome of the game depends on several factors. To win the second game of the season the teams will have to get their shooting back on track. Both teams also have serious roster issues, and the rotations have to be determined. So many players try to prove that they need to be given more minutes on the court. NFL experts have made predictions on the starting line.

Rajon Rondo is set to be a starter at point guard. He may not stick to this position for too long, but Lonzo Ball is still not ready to challenge Rondo for the job. Rondo had a great Lakers debut, and he will have to play against the team that has one of the best guard play in the NBA.

Josh Hart definitely won the job during the opening game as he is a clear winner. The only thing that drags him back is his age and inexperience.

LeBron James, of course. The Lakers are building their game around LeBron.

LeBron’s favorite, Brandon Ingram, projects as a future offensive star.

We have not seen JaVale McGee as a full-time starter since the 2010-11 season. Most of the time he was a bench piece and has not played more than 20 minutes per game. However, the Lakers rely on him as their lone proven center.

Chris Paul is in Houston and will play against his longtime friend, LeBron, and that would be awesome, as Paul’s team tried to lure King James in the offseason.

James Harden is the favorite to win the MVP award this season.

James Ennis is new in the team, and he is playing instead of Trevor Ariza. He is not proven on defense, but his early returns are positive.

P.J. Tucker is actually the glue guy for the Houston Rockets, and he was really important for their playoffs last season.

Clint Capela is the ultimate lob finisher in the game, and his only job is to do the dirty work down low and dunk.
