Magic Johnson Reveals Who’s Playing As LeBron James’ Sidekick

The Los Angeles Lakers were not considered contenders before LeBron James inked a four-year contract with the team. His signing brought hope to the team, and even fans dare to dream of the grand victory. Magic Johnson and Jeanie Buss made a great deal earlier this summer, and LeBron is the best fit for the team.

Is you ask Magic Johnson, he will say that King James will rely on his favorite Laker, Brandon Ingram, adding that the young player can average 20 points per game. During his interview with ESPN, Magic Johnson made a few remarks on their play.

“It’s got to be Brandon Ingram because every year he’s taken a step forward. He’s gotten better and better and he has the game to score 20 points a night. We’ve seen signs of that so if Brandon takes the step that we all feel he can take then I think that will make us a dangerous team,” he said.

The Los Angeles Lakers will have their first regular-season game tonight, and it will be a game worth watching. The team is challenging the Portland Trail Blazers, and they are more than ready to confront Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum. LeBron James pointed these two as a potential threat for his team.

“I think it starts with their fans. Their fans are diehard, loyal. It starts with their team what they have put together over the last 17 years. They start very well at home. They are two of the toughest one-two punches that we have in our league, as far as point guard and shooting guard. They’re just as tough as anybody. I have had the triple-double [in Portland] and I have had some good success up there in my career. It has always been fun and a good reception,” he said of the Portland Trail Blazers.

Good luck, Lakers!
