Patriots Give Update On Gronkowski’s Injury Progression

The New England Patriots are happy to give an update on Rob Gronkowski and his health condition.

The tight end came back to action after he missed the Week 7 contest due to his back injury. We do not have much information on Rob Gronkowski’s status for Monday Night’s contest with the Buffalo Bills. However, he was a gull participant during the few positional drills reporters were allowed to watch. Gronk fired out a three-point stance and hit blocking pads and absorbing all the blows from team staffers during the ball security drill.

Jim McBride from The Boston Globe said that Gronkowski has a shot to play against the Buffalo Bills, and he got the information from a source close to the team. Those nine catches and 147 yards in last season’s visit to western New York were great.

Offensive tackle Marcus Cannon and defensive end Deatrick Wise returned to practice after sitting out Wednesday’s practice. Running back Sony Michel and cornerback Eric Rowe were still sidelined.

Offensive lineman Brian Schwence was not on the field, too. He has not appeared on any recent injury reports, and there is a huge possibility that he is traded or released. Let’s not forget that Schwenke was end-of-the-roster player, but the team has not confirmed any info on such move.

If New England decided to promote running back Kenneth Farrow from practice squad or land a free agent back in the wake of Sony Michel’s injury, they will need a clear spot for him on the 53-man roster.

The Patriots are all about winning at the moment. They lost two games in the regular season, and they will not lose another game. How will the team act upon the injuries? Head coach Bill Belichick sure has a solution to the problem. Well, this is not actually a problem as Belichick always has a backup plan.
