Patriots Media Reacts To Win Over Colts

The New England Patriots had their third win in the regular season. The team struggled offensively, and the release of Jordan Matthews, Kenny Britt and Malcolm Mitchell was not an easy challenge to cope with. Running backs and players in the offensive line suffered injuries, and the Patriots did have the best game in the history. However, they made a step forward, and they have almost gained their full strength. The win over the Indianapolis Colts confirmed the fact that the Patriots are on the right track.

Quarterback Tom Brady was happy to see his favorite target back. Julian Edelman was able to fit in the offense, and had a huge role there. This was the first game since the 2018 season where the Patriots looked like the original New England Patriots team again. Reporters who cover the team on a daily basis could not hide their excitement. Are the Colts happy for their loss? Absolutely not, but they saw it coming. The return of Julian Edelman and the addition of Josh Gordon scared them a bit.

The Patriots media welcomed Edelman, and did not miss the opportunity to note that the wide out has not been active in a regular season game since 2016. His torn ACL and suspension kept him away from the field for too long. But, he’s back now.

New England came into the game with a huge advantage. They came to play all healthy, and the only inactive players were the backups. It’s nice to see the team healthy and complete.

Edelman was the star of the night, and that did not come as a surprise. What surprised most experts was his ability to get in the middle of an action almost instantly. The No. 1 receiver looks great and he is ready to handle the pressure that comes with each game..
