Photos: Robert Kraft’s Latest Nike Air Force 1s, ‘RKK Ultra Flyknit’ Released For Amazing Cause

Have you seen the RKK Ultra Flyknit? Patriots owner Robert Kraft had the fifth edition of his signature sneaker released. The shoes are nothing like their forerunners, and Nike fans went crazy for these.

Nike and Kraft unveiled the 2018 limited edition Robert Kraft 1s ‘RKK Ultra Flyknit.’ This is the latest edition of the annual sneaker partnership between the New England Patriots and the sports apparel company. The “RKK Ultra Flyknit” are painted in the Patriots colors.

We have this red mesh top, navy blue swoosh outlined in white and white soles.

The shoes honor the 25th anniversary of Robert Kraft’s purchase of the team.

Fans rushed to the Patriots ProShop at Gillette Stadium on Thursday to grab a pair of the “RKKs.” The proceeds of the sales will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Boston. The initiative has raised more than $2 million. Kraft greeted fans, and autographed the shoes.

“That was unbelievable. People were here last night. They started lining up before 9 p.m. They’re here over 12 hours for a pair of sneakers. I guess sneakerheads are different,” Kraft said on Thursday afternoon.

If you compare the shoes to the previous versions, you will notice a big difference. But, these are the special shoes, remember? The shoes come in a special shoe box constructed from old seats and benches from the Patriots’ Foxboro Stadium with each of the team’s 300 wins under Robert Kraft’s ownership etched onto it.

“For the fifth year, Nike has made a retail version of an Air Force 1 for Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who wears Nikes with his dress attire. This year’s version celebrates his 25th anniversary of ownership and will be sold tomorrow at the Patriots Pro Shop for $160,” Darren Rovell tweeted.

Oh, and head coach Bill Belichick has a pair of these.
